These terms apply to estimates and work performed by Colin Coatings Des Moines.
Estimates
Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Estimates are based on the conditions observed during the on-site inspection. Hidden conditions discovered during preparation (for example, unbonded overlays, contamination, or moisture readings above the specified limit) may require a change in scope, which we will explain and price in writing before proceeding.
Scheduling and site preparation
The area to be coated must be completely empty, including shelving, vehicles, and stored items, before the crew arrives. Installation dates are weather-dependent for exterior work and may be rescheduled for temperature or humidity outside the product's application range.
Payment
A deposit may be required to reserve an installation date. The balance is due on completion. The final invoice matches the written estimate unless scope changes were approved in writing.
Warranty
Residential floor coatings include a written workmanship warranty covering peeling, delamination, and hot-tire pickup caused by installation, for the term stated on your estimate. The warranty excludes damage from slab movement or structural cracking, moisture intrusion from outside the slab, improper cleaning agents, abuse, or alterations by others. Manufacturer material warranties are passed through where available.
Care
Allow the cure times stated on your completion sheet before foot traffic, furniture, and vehicles. Clean with a neutral cleaner; avoid solvents and abrasive pads.
